AkzoNobel expands Kromasil offering to support drug development


AkzoNobel Speciality Chemicals said that it is extending its offering of Kromasil silica products to support key steps in drug development. The new Kromasil line targets supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC), which has emerged as a favoured drug development technology. It enables the separation of a wide variety of compounds while lowering costs, shortening time to market, and reducing waste since CO2 is used instead of organic solvents. Read more

 

RAMPF Eco Solutions, a recycling company has collaborated with Keil Anlagenbau to design a multi-functional plant for manufacturing polyols based on polyethylene terephthalate (PET), phthalic anhydride (PSA), and polyurethane (PU) / polyisocyanurates (PIR). Honeywell International (HON) and Equate Petrochemical Company have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), to further develop innovative technologies to support operations at Equate’s industrial complexes. Equate is currently the owner and single-operator of several fully integrated world-class petrochemical complexes in Kuwait, North America and Europe. Queensland University of Technology (QUT) scientists have found an exciting new way to manipulate and design materials of the future at the atomic level and change the way they behave at a larger scale that opens the way to new applications such as early cancer biomarkers.
