Job Description:

This is a senior scientific role within the Medicinal Chemistry department. The role holder is also expected to work across the Medicinal Chemistry department along with other senior scientists to provide scientific leadership.

Job Requirement:

Candidate should have a Ph. D. degree in computational chemistry or corresponding experience in a relevant scientific discipline with many years of relevant experience in drug discovery and/or early development. / in.
The role holder will have “cutting-edge” knowledge of their own area of specialization, taking a leading role in establishing best practice in their discipline. The role holder, will be seen as a focal point for their area of expertise across the iMED. May also have experience as a project leader involving multi-disciplinary resource management.
Candidate will have ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary matrix research environment, providing leadership and insight in medicinal chemistry. This role also demands in-depth collaboration skills.
Require 10 or more year’s post-doctoral or equivalent research experience.
Demonstrated knowledge in R&D-related sciences and practices, good understanding of chemistry, biology, DMPK, and IT.
